Junior QA Tester

As a Junior QA Tester, you will be responsible for assisting in the testing and quality assurance of our software products. You will work closely with developers, designers, and other QA team members to ensure that our applications meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of new and existing software applications.

Identify, report, and track software defects and issues.

Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.

Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.

Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation on testing activities and results.

Requirements:

A basic understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying issues.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is a plus.

Basic knowledge of test automation tools is an advantage but not required.
